There is now a new way to enjoy the Sony Ericsson Open tennis tournament in March, aboard a luxury cruise ship.

Tennis enthusiasts, who said you can't have it all when it comes to planning your vacation? Bob Lovinger, Founder of Tennis Cruise, has joined forces with travel giants Cruise Planner/American Express and Royal Caribbean to put together, as he puts it, "a dream experience".

The Sony Ericsson Open Tennis Cruise sets sail on March 21, 2010 in route to Costa Maya, Mexico, Belize, Cozumel, and Grand Cayman aboard the luxury liner Liberty of the Seas. It features tennis in Miami as well as featured ports, clinics aboard the ship, and other tennis themed events. Following the cruise, participants will attend the Sony Ericsson Open in Key Biscayne.

Lovinger says that he is thrilled and honored to add Stolle and Davidson to this event, "Fred Stolle and Owen Davidson own thirty-one Grand Slam titles between them and will bring tremendous excitement to Tennis Cruise. They are each great ambassadors of the sport and have remained well connected and versed on the modern game. Our participants will be in for a thrill."

Selecting the celebrities for Tennis Cruise was no easy task, according to Lovinger. "Initially, I was only planning on including one celebrity, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to get these two great tennis legends. In the end, I determined that Fred and Owen present the best entertainment value for our guests. "

In addition to participating in tennis events, Stolle and Davidson will also be part of the group socially and attend the Sony Ericsson Open match play with them as well.

The Sony Ericsson Tennis Cruise package starts at $1049 per person and space is limited. Tennis Cruise also offers a package for the US Open that runs from August 28 to September 2, 2010.
